I've not been impressed with tac in 20" carbine barrels. Slow velocity, noticeably more recoil.

Three to be exact: 375 winchester, my 41-9.3x62 wildcat and the 358 winchester

In all instances,the faster rl 10x gave better velocity and less recoil. Standard primer worked great as well.

My many thousands of lbs of moose and caribou were put away with 10x powered handloads. Mostly with 358 winchester.

Luke, that goofy kimber trend-setter down in wasilla, was getting some phenomenal velocities from a 16" kimber 358 carbine he put together, using 10x handloads.
