Ancient thread revisited, but maybe we can get the pet load thread to include a .358 Win pet load link?
I load 44 grains of Reloder 7 under a 180 grain TTSX.
Shoots 3/4” out of my JES rebored Howa 1500.
I’ve tried several powders, TAC, X-Term, RL-7 and others.
My best accuracy was with RL-7 and I like the 178 Shock Hammer, which is very accurate with great terminal performance.
RL-7 is fast enough that compressed loads are not necessary. TAC requires compression. Not a problem with compressed loads, just don’t compress if I have other options. X-Term is another good one.
