Yeah, if they're not anticipating selling a large
amount of marlin products like the old marlin
company did pre-remington, I guess the specialized
thousand and two thousand dollar units will
fill the bill. From what I've seen, the large majority
of gun buyers are buying AR's and expensive
customized bolts with big expensive optics.
The traditional customers for marlin levers are
the working man/poor man/blue collar types
that don't have a coupla thou' to put toward a
new ruglin, and most likely wouldn't spend that
if they had it. Probably the business degree types
that are now in every industry in the nation
that make the call.
