The one 1894 44 mag I had was, as best as I can remember, shooting around 1 1/2" at a hundred yards with a Weaver 4x scope. It wore a Williams Foolproof peep most of the time. I killed one boar with it and gave it to my nephew after he killed his first buck with it. It was his only rifle for years and he killed several deer with it. Until recently, I've never truly wanted another, but at current prices I don't want one bad enough.


Those who are always shooting off at the mouth usually aren't shooting straight.
