Sounds like I'll be doing some patterning soon! I hadn't thought of that, since I never really got into turkey hunting much either. All the shells I bought are 00 Buck, but I like the idea of #1 Buck or similar since there would be a lot more pellets. Perhaps #1 in the chamber and 00 behind it as suggested above. I'm also a fan of more open chokes. They make me look like a better shot than I am!
