Big props to Officer Englebert. Took control from the moment he hit the scene, hastily assembled an entry team, led the way, and then took the shooter out. Incredible job by what appears to be quite a young officer (reportedly a 4 year PD veteran). My guess is he'll be wearing some chevrons soon.

Going to be some Monday morning QB'ing (talk of clusterfuck, guys muzzling each other, etc.), but this is the best example we have ever seen with these school shootings of what needs to happen and what should happen. It wasn't perfect. But it is the most perfect example of the type of officers needed and actions needed when it counts.

Officer Collazo also did a great job, despite being armed with only his sidearm, he was rushing into the thick of things and keeping everyone moving forward.

Those two guys are studs. If only Uvalde had a couple guys with the balls these guys had.
