I don’t think it’s dying. I got few buddies that got the 7RM. They use for deer and elk. IMHO, over kill for deer, but it’s a one and done rifle.

Off topic, I absolutely hate when they buy factory ammo with light weight bullets like 140s. It Doesn’t really offer much over the 270 which is cheaper and less recoil.
But hey, they have a magnum that is necessary for elk.

All of them do something better than the 30-06, but none of them do everything as well.
