T/C Compass in 308 Win. Just loaded 100 rounds for it and at the range got a .69 group at 100 yard. I figure that will work.
Haven't you kept up with the times? The .308 is the new 30-30.....deer are immune to it. You need a hyper fast, ultra magnum earth blaster, or at least something with Creedmore in the name.
It's not so much that they are immune to it, but that the .308 will drop and land short of the animal at any distance beyond 100 yards, striking dirt.
