I had two of them years ago. The first one wouldn't shoot any better than about 2 1/2 to 3" at 100 yards with anything I tried in it. Didn't have it long and got rid of it. Not long after that a gun store was going out of business so I picked up the second one at a good price. It did some better with a few loads hanging around 1 1/2", but since I had had a Marlin that shot better, I still wasn't happy. Rebarreled it with a Green Mtn heavy fluted .17HMR that was a tack driver and eventually bought another Marlin 22 mag. It too, out shoots both the Rugers.
