77/22s were known for having accuracy issues. I picked both of these up new after Ruger discontinued them. Under $400 bucks. Knowing their value would escalate, it was an easy decision. They both shoot better than I expected. They feel great in the hand too. When you hold a Ruger American, you know you are holding a cheap gun. When you hold a 77/22 you know you are holding a quality piece. I got lucky.
