Okay, now I get this magic phenomenon!

Suspected this might be the so-called "problem," partly because unlike some handloaders I have yet to exceed published 6.5 PRC data. But apparently some might, which I have found to cause similar problems in some other cartridges. That extra 50-100 fps must matter a lot. Surprise!

Have never had any problem extracting fired cases in my rifle, just tight chambering a few after a couple firings. As with many other hunting rounds I have marked those rounds for use for zero-checking, instead of hunting.
