Were the 219's ever made with nickel plating? I have one in 25-20 that has a plated receiver, plated barrel and what I would call above standard checkered wood.
Just wondering if and when Savage might have done this, or if at all. I've never mastered the photo thing here! But I’m learning.
It was made in Utica, 26” barrel, cocks on the lever and came with the old Weaver scope. 219 on right receiver and a very nice 4lb trigger.
