-by continuing is she damaging Trump politically?

Harder question. Trumps support amongst informed voters seems to increase the more people see how the left goes to extremes. Problem is low information voters will reach a point of "Trump's Legal Issues" fatigue.

They have forced him into a multi-front war of attrition where the goverment has unlimited resources and he does not.
