I wouldn't know the exact name for any of it....but the predominant cause for the terrain here is glaciation.
I wondered if it might be some eroded esker material.....................but that's geological scheidt and I'm a biology type major.

I loved geology classes (had the choice of one of those or physics, can you guess which one I took?) and at times wondered if I should have stuck with that. Prolly could have made more money and still lived in interesting places.
