I have an early Remington model 550-1 which is an extremely accurate rifle. I also purchased awhile back a Marlin 1897 Cowboy in .22LR with the full octagon barrel before they discontinued them. I have a Weaver 1x3 straight tube scope on it and it's a tree rat killer for sure! Last week I picked up an S&W model 48 .22WMR and it's a tackdriver as well!!! Now the only thing left on my list is a nice S&W model 17 in .22LR so I can shoot a lot with it for little cost!!!! Not sure, but think I'm close to putting together a deal on one!!!
