Good luck! I spent over $1500.00, above the cost of the rifle, on a M77 Mk II 6.5x55 trying to get it to shoot. Nada, it was at best a 3.5" rifle. Ruger told me that was acceptable. The barrel went in the scrap dumpster the action went to my brother for a 7mm 08 project.
