Picked up a MkII 6.5 last year that appeared unfired with a Buckmaster 3x9. Floated the barrel, fixed the overtravel (spring was already lightened to 3 lbs or so) and shot. Started it off with Norma brass, 120 gr HotCore's and 129 Hornadys. The 129's with H-4831SC and the 120's with H-4350 both stayed around an inch or so at 100yds and one 3 shot group with each at 200 yds was 2 1/2" +/-. Windy day and that's the only 200 yd groups I shot. Hunted with it but only shot 1 whitetail doe about 110 lbs. 120 HC in near shoulder muscle and out very rear of rib cage on opposite side with about 50c size exit. Everything jelly inside. Shot was 80 or 90 yds. Really like it so far.
