I had a CZ 550 American 9.3x62 that weighed at least 8 lbs w/o rings, scope or sling. I'd be surprised if the CZ 550 FS is as light as 7.4 lbs. Don't think BRNO was quite as "generous" with its walnut and steel as CZ is these days.
