We�ve loaded that bullet at about 2600fps in a .308 carbine, about 2800fps in a short �06 and about 3150fps in a couple .308 Normas and a .300WinMag.
While we didn't shoot many groups at longer ranges, it was used to dispatch a few coyotes at longer ranges and it shot minute of coyote anyway. I recall one whitetail spike we thought we�d hit earlier that was hit at a fair distance as well, and judging from the tissue damage the bullet must have opened up adequately at that range.
