Like BC30Cal I too have used this bullet for several cratridges. It's one of my "go to" bullets. This is my bullet of choice for long range deer in my .300 Win Mag. I load it to a little over 3200 fps and all are one shot kills. I've even taken Elk with it...shot a huge Cow once at about 80 yards, recovered the bullet inside the offside hide, perfect mushroom after going through her!
My opinion is that the 165 grainer for the .30 cal is one of the best all around weights going. I have 400 Hornady 165 BTSP's on hand as well as 500 Nosler Partition 165's for my future hunting......
