I haven't cooked any from this year yet but last years boar provided hours of chewing enjoyment, and that was just on the first bite.
This years was a bit smaller and younger so hopefully better.
The one way we did like it a lot was to crock-pot it for eight hours with this seasoning package (you also add some brown sugar and ketchup and apple cider vinegar per the directions)
