I'll suggest you try to stay in the 3300fps area with the 120gr nosler ballistic tip. I used to shoot this bullet at 3500fps, It will burn the throat fast. The load i used was the 72gr H4831 max load out of the old book. I worked it down to 68gr of H4831 and my note show Cracked necks loose primers at 72gr with some makes of brass. They sure where accurate in that barrel, until they where not. The bull elk i shot at about 90yds did a back flip and was dead before it hit the ground. Nearly cut a big muledeer in half with a spine shot. Looked like i hit it with a bomb. If your shooting anything under 200yds, there are better bullet choices
