I have the same problem as Maych had and I don't want to spend $50 just for a scope base. I can't find any other one that will do the trick so I may just hunt with open sights. I don't believe we are the only two who are having this problem. Just as Maych said, the mounting holes on other rifles are consistently two inches farther back. I guess the only other solution is too get something with at least a five inch eye relief but how many scopes have that?
