Just my 2 cents, so take it for what its worth. When I was truck shopping in 07, I wanted a crew cab, but hated to give up the bed length. Then I discovered that the Tundra double cab with the 6.5' bed has almost as much back seat as a ford or GM crew cab and has the forward opening doors. The doors are a huge deal if you have ever had to get in and out of the back seat of a truck that has doors that open against each other in a crowded parking lot. The back seat of a Tundra Crewmax is almost ridiculous. I swear it was like sitting in a Limo.

Anyway, after much research and test-driving, I bought the Tundra Double Cab and have been nothing but pleased for 45k miles. I get almost 19 mpg on my daily commute, which is most interstate driving at 75mph.

With the rebates and 0% interest they have going now, it sure looks like a good time to buy.
