after some research, it has been determined that on state and federal gamelands you cannot bring bait or food, private lands a different matter and there are no rules for hunting over the bait/feed. Yea!
rost, good idea! I'm presuming that the deer will eat directly out of the barrel feeder? The feed won't be 'spread around' on the ground.
I'll have to get some salt licks too!
