Around here, I typically see 336's in 35 rem between $300-$400 and the 30.30's seem to be maybe $30-$50 less. In upstate NY I do see a slight increase in price as the season nears, less so in CT.

It might just be me, but I think I would rather have an older, gold triggered 336 as long as it had no rust, a good crown and no extreme wear to finish (metal or wood) than the new one at a similar price. I certainly wouldn't pay much of a premium for a new one.
