Rumor says the motion sensor in the Delta Point has turned the light off at the wrong time for a few early adapters - I'll wait for at least the next generation on these but it's nice to see the 2-7x33 promoted to what I suppose is a first line scope.

Agreed that the market is not so much hunters as shooters. My only shooting at full dark was coyotes on a white night and no issues with much of anything. Batteries I've experimented with didn't last in a cold soak anyway - maybe a heated battery compartment?

Maybe the variables have reached the stage of transmitting as much light as a fixed power in today's world - they'll have to prove it to me or I'll go with an 8x56 fixed for a moon scope for which I have no use anyway.
