John,Well its a totally unnecessary cartridge !!!!! a 30-30 does everything as well as a 32 special , both shoot a 170 gr bullet ,i have no idea why Winchester ever developed it!! Don
I feel just the other way the 30 30 can't do anything the 32 Special can't and is unnecessary.
I'm perfectly happy that "Necessary" has nothing to do with it... If we weeded out all the unnecessary rounds, it would be a pretty boring sport....
