I guess Kimber's marketing department knows what they are doing, but a 5 1/2 pound (scoped) 30-06? Ouch!
Please tell me the 308 comes in a short action. A rifle this light begs for a 7mm-08 and a 260 Rem version. That is borderline too light for a 270Win.... 7mm-08 would be perrrrrrrrrrrfect! How does a 7mm08 recoil any less than a .270 in a 5.5 lbs rifle? Two 140 grain bullets at 2800 fps look and feel the same to me?
