I know that I have not visited the U.S.A. in nearly ten years and doubt that I ever will again. Canada's future lies in trade and cultural exchanges with many nations and our common bond of shared ethnicity, for example, with America is rapidly eroding due to immigration/demographic trends.

Dont forget that, until the 1970's, most Canadian immigrants could trace there route to Canada through the US.
