I have a Remington 600 mohawk in .243 that was my first Rifle 36 years ago, She is the most Accurate rifle I have ever owned out of the box. shot woodchucks,rabbits and others at 300yd+ with open sights back then, can still shoot clover leafs at 100 yards. I found a 660 in .243 I would love to buy my Son.
What is the Difference between the 2 other than the wood on the stocks? The 660 does not have a Rib and the Bolt & Action Serial numbers Match. Do I need to watch out for anything else?
Are these Worth $500 in good condition for age?

I think that if you check on Gunbroker.com you will find that that is a pretty good deal. If I hadn't just purchased a 600 in 308 I would be asking you to lead me to the sale if you choose not to buy. I think that the fact that it is a 243 ups the value. Good luck to you.
