This was a less than ideal situation with the deer going fast away, but I hit bones and went a very long way with that bullet. For me, it did an excellent job. I need the space in the smallish can of the custom 270 so I'm going to try the 110 Barnes next. No complaints on the Hornady under those circumstances.
