I'm not Quebecois actually. My father came here from France in the early 1960's. So I'm half french but not from Quebec. You say the government does not have enough stones to move forward with big changes. With all the discussion and movement created by Idle no more maybe things will change sooner rather than later. One can only hope.

I seriously doubt any significant changes will be made by politicians, unfortunately the prefer to allow the courts to determine the direction of our aboriginal policies. :-(. If you study some of the more recent court rulings what do you see? I see more and more our ineffective politicians are letting judges run the show instead of dealing with issues outside the court room.
We elect these people to represent us, and in my opinion they do a pee poor job on a lot of levels.
