I will get hammered for this but I absolutely love my Taurus PT1911....its trigger is smooth, functions lawlessly, and eats up everything I can throw at it....it is very accurate as well.
You won't get any hammering from me on the Taurus PT1911. I've had zero problems with mine.
I've never shot a SR1911 or SA Range Officer, but the consensus from those who have owned them seems to be almost universally favorable.
