This thread is making me want to push all my other rifles to the back of the safe and focus more on just the 'ol 30-06. Really, if a fella could shoot it & shoot it very well; it's all you need for any animal on this continent.

Your WTT ad in the classifieds is what got me thinking about my 'ol 30-06. I always wanted to try a quarter bore and was real tempted to offer up mine for your Montana, but after pulling the 'ol gal outta the back of the safe and wiping her down ... I don't think she'll be going anywhere anytime soon.
Especially since I put the HS Precision stock on her a couple years back and then put her right back in the safe. I need to play with her some and see what she thinks of her new tupperware.
