That speed was with a soft jacket 650 gr DKT bullet.

Not made any more, as Chuck passed on years ago,

His 750 gr shot close to same point of aim at 50 yds.

The Barnes solids would go to different spot by couple inches

The Minie bullets we use go to different points of aim.

Minies are all lighter and guys GB sells them, we use ones

measuring .585" Guy here up north makes heat treated 640gr ones,

and as hard as solids, that go as fast as any jacketed and

a third the cost. And can't lead up as they are so hard.

For deer, hogs, target, minies are great, just shoot

them fast and won't lead up. Above 2700. Ed
