Hey guys, I'm going to send a 6x42 into the Leupold Custom Shop for an elevation turret, and I was just wondering what the turnaround time usually is?

They'll quote you a time. That said, they recently quoted me 3 weeks for that exact procedure and I had it back in about half that.

I've had the same experience; turn around time is generally shorter than what they quote, but not always. I had one that made it back exactly at the time they'd quoted.

I sent an old M8 4X scope in to them a few years ago. They repaired it and I got it back before I received their confirmation letter saying they received it. Fast.

Only time I've needed CS intervention with a Leupold I sent it with Thursday afternoon mail and had it re-sighted in the following Tuesday afternoon.

I sent an old M8 4X scope in to them a few years ago. They repaired it and I got it back before I received their confirmation letter saying they received it. Fast. I did, too. Got the scope back and a few days later got a little blue postcard saying they had received my scope and that a trained technician would be looking at it etc. etc. I thought it was kind of funny.

I've sent a couple of Leupolds back for not holding zero for one reason or another and usually have them back in a week to two weeks if they were real busy. Never have had a complaint about their service.

mt, they are pretty quick.. I have had half a dozen turrets like you describe put on my scopes.. As Travis would say they are uber for most of my shooting.. Enjoy..

Had trouble with my 2X7 VXII power ring. Sent it to them two weeks ago and got it back yesterday! Very impressed!!

I shipped one out on 8/10 for an M1 installation and it was back in my hands yesterday. 14 days door to door. Pretty quick in my opinion, especially since they quoted me 4-6 weeks when I originally called. In my experience, they always beat that time.
