Starsky, pick up as many places on the west side of the creek, to the north, as you can. They're all good......

Fur looked good on both. Second one had a pretty big exit, so didn't skin that one.

Yesterday, I had to go north to one of my friend's place.. After a short visit, decided to take the dogs for a little ride and look for a coyote or jack.. We spotted this fellow sitting in the sage. One 230 gr. Horn. HP from the Smith .45 ACP dropped it on the spot..

This morning we took a little ride for coyotes and jacks.. Spotted one sitting he look like it was about 100 yards to the jack, thought of using the .22-250, but decided the Smith .44 would be more fun. Had it loaded with 44 spl. cases, 8 grain of Unique and a 210 gr. Rem. HP. First two shots were side buy side, but low.. Held up a bit of front sight and tried again..It looked close but the jack ran about 30 yards and stopped.. I squeezed off one more and to my surprise, and I am sure his, drilled him though the chest for and instant kill.. Kate brought him back.. Paced it off at 136 steps.. One of my best shots..

She has a tough life to besure... Play in the snow, snacks, sleep in front of the fireplace, or sleep in front of the snack drawer... Thanks.. I like it too.

For the 15 years she was with me, it was hard to find a pic around here without Ingwedog in it....
She had more experience by far on game and fish than most men, and it looks like Maggie is heading the same direction.

Called in and killed a Mt. Lion this afternoon. Pics will follow..... Called him in with rabbit distress.....showed up at 10 min mark into stand. 260 Remington with 139 scenars did the trick.

That mountain lion is a hard act to follow. I just got a 13 pound coon. That mountain lion would have eaten it.
