Good afternoon all, If you had any model 99,what's the One that you would drag through the woods? Accuracy? Weight? Reliability? Nostalgia? No wrong answer here...

Open ground a 99F in 284. For brush the .375 carbine I just put together is ideal.

We can shoot so many deer here in MD, my goal was to take one with each 99 I have. Starting with my 1912 22 HP, then the F in 303, R in 300, R in 250, DL in 308, Joe.
I'm not greedy, I just want one of each.

EG in 250-3000. Fits me really well. Comes up and points like a fine shotgun.

It'd have to be one of the Savage calibers, whichever model wraps it. Probably not the .22 Hi-Power though.
