I use a length of telephone wire with the insulation stripped off to clean the smaller dia. channel. For the larger flash channel I use a 1/8" jewelers screw driver. Never had an ignition problem.

I bought a 9-inch drill bit on Amazon that will reach the flash channel from the rear of the action of my Knight. I plan to shorten it a bit and fit a handle to make it easier to turn. I also bought a spool of stainless wire that just fits through the small hole. I cut off a length, twist a loop in one end, and thread it through the lanyard that also carries spare primers in a rubber holder. The wire is flexible enought to bend and snake through the plug. Pretty much what I used to do for sidelocks.

What fresh Hell is this?
