It would actually be rather simple to have Mexico pay for a great deal of the costs for building the wall, if both Houses don't shut it down. Ding, ding! We have a winner. You have to think about it in terms of why wouldn't they help build it? Gets a lot clearer. Clue me in then. I see not a chance in hades' MX pays for the wall....any of it.
It is irrelevant what you think. What matters is the TRUTH.

A more entertaining thread would have been "who here will not vote for Cruz, Rubio, Kasich, etc, since most of us get the big picure and even if Trump is not our first choice, we would vote for him to keep a democrat out of the WH.
The kookists here (read: former RP supporters) are mostly on the Trump bandwagon, but have admitted they would stay home if Trump was not the nominee.
A good principle to guide me through life: “This is all I have come to expect, standard lackluster performance. Trust nothing, believe no one and realize it will only get worse…”

Yeah, this election cycle has pretty much confirmed that one out of three republican voters are nuts.

My wife is not a member, but she wouldn't vote Trump in the general election no matter how hard I try to explain voting party line.

Even though I'm skeptical of Trump I'll definitely vote for him if he's the GOP nominee. Anything to stop the Democrats!

Mitch McConnell and the rest of the establishment Republicans hate him, so I'll take great satisfaction in voting for him. It's one way to stick it to them, without supporting the Dems.
I think they would rather have Hillary in the White house so they can keep playing their charade. Amen!!!!! I would prefer Cruz, but will vote for Trump if he is the nominee. As for the others, Carson being the lone exception, one may as well vote for the dimocrat.

Not exactly. Even though there were 4 million new Republican voters registered between 2004 and 2008, many stayed home. Liberals are always losers for the Republican party. 62.3 in 2008. 60.4 in 2004

helps herself to working peoples tax dollars to give to ni&&ars Ok maybe trump screwed up helping hillary; but how about Charley Rangel, Chuck Schumer, Harry Reid, and John Kerry? Couldn't they help us like they helped Trump? Say, you wouldn't know when the last time Trump was out west elk hunting do ya? I think its important for the east coast types to know about the west. PS. Did he tent it or stay in a lodge?

I would vote for nearly anyone on the ticket except Trump. I don't think he's any better than getting a Democrat. The problem is not my guy, it's Trump.

If he picks a strict Constitutionalist as a VP running mate, I will vote for his VP. Otherwise, I am staying home, drinking and praying for my country. Bad wrong answer Yeah, I already know everyone's gonna hate on me for saying it. I have spent my entire life holding my nose and voting against the other guy. I'm done with that, the GOP can no longer take my vote for granted. I've been a lifelong Republican but I may go out and register as a Libertarian, depending on how this election plays out. There's a lot to like there. https://www.lp.org/platformThe big-government "Conservatives" here won't like the notion of not waving our military dick in everyone's face. The nanny-state Social "Conservatives" here won't like the notion of getting the .gov nose out of everyone's ass. I voted Libertarian last cycle and it was the first time in my life I actually felt like I'd voted my conscience. It was a great feeling. I will not vote for Donald [bleep] Trump. Are you f'ing kidding me?! The guy is a buffoon and an utter chameleon. All he's done is toss the right firebombs to get people riled up. I also will not vote for Hillary Clinton. So, Libertarian it will be again. I am lucky in the sense that there's no way in hell Oregon goes either Cruz or Trump, so my vote is a luxury. You are to stupid to know enough not to post or talk politics here after voting for Obama... TFF priceless !

hello mcfly..............
"many stayed home" =
republican voter apathy
they got registered voted in the primarys their guy didn't get the nom
then stayed home in nov pouting about their guy not being the one
repub voter apathy........................ Fewer vote in primaries than vote in the general election. So it's not usually about getting primary voters back out to vote, it's about getting the folks who didn't vote in the primary to bother leaving home to vote in the general. In 2012 in New Hampshire, for instance, there were roughly 250,000 voters in the Republican primary and 60,000 voters in the Democrat primary. Compared to the general election in which 330,000 Republican votes cast and about 370,000 Democrats. Republicans didn't get enough non-primary voters out to win.
