I've not used the cast bullets but I know people who do. No reported complaints. Stupidity is expensive If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!

I would recommend any number of other options for defenseive ammo. If you have a Fleet Farm or Cabela's close, they seem to have the best prices for a larger marketer, Remington has a rebate going on their Ultimate Defense loads which can bring the price down to pretty reasonable. If you need to order by mail, try Streicher's Police Supply in Plymouth, MN. I buy my self defense ammo from them as they have the best prices I can find. Federal HST is the best value as they sell it in 50 round boxes for 75% of the cost of two 20 round boxes elsewhere.
