My ex, 14 years, was a great union steward when I met her, very liberal. I married her anyway lol, the sex was good lol. She worked for the phone company. After about 10 years she made management . She went from far left to far right lol and I was still sleeping on the couch lol.

We are basically opposites which in fact is a good thing.
(helps balance things out I guess)
Get along fine 95% of the time...
But damn is it hard to deal with during this latest political chitshow.
Should admit I'm fairly liberal on some issues but no way in hell support/vote for any of the Dems.
