Mn. gun season opens next weekend, and I've got a doe tag. There's got to be a nubbin' buck out there with my name written all over it, and I'm warming up the family truckster to run for a case or two or ten of Blanton's......

Well I spent a week in unit 20B for my muzzle loader hunt last week. I saw does, fawns, yearlings, quail, mourning dove, woodpeckers, squirrels, a king snake, tarantula, turkeys everything but a BUCK. mad grin Oh, also had a bunny rabbit eating about 15' from me. I didn't have a .460 and didn't think the 250 grn barnes out of the .50 cal would do the job. laugh

Eating tag soup this year again.

How much Blatons would it take for you to imagine that I got a dink with nubs just breaking the skin??? grin

Maybe next year.

Only a dingleberry, not yet a Turdlike person, maybe someday!!!

There's an avalanche of answers to that question.

Winch one would you like first?

I shot an arrow into a doe's ass once. Would have blasted the heart/lungs if she hadn't spun at the shot (recurve, late season, jumpy deer). Recovered 250 yards away, no blood (found and shot again).
Sucked.
No more jumpy deer shots late season. None earlier too.

It seems I have failed to impress in dinkedness alone.

I will supplement my submission with blood trail style points.

Some snow would have made that job a lot easier.

Its a sad day when deer with spikes are actual contenders in the dinkathon....

I did it one time. It was a doe with a Bambie walked under and past me. She was walking away from me, so I had a narrow lane to hit the boiler room. So because I suck, I was a little off to the left and got her in the ass. I had a sick feeling as I watched her run away with an arrow sticking out of her ass. Those are the types of hunts I'd like to forget.

As far as the Dink-a-thon goes, I'm going out tonight and tomorrow, so maybe I'll screw up and shoot one.

I'm sure you won't miss either. I know you don't miss many flying targets with that thing.
