I've got a Yeti Hopper soft sided cooler. And as for keeping ice, it isn't magic. It is still a soft sided cooler. But the thing that is great about it is that it is rugged and DOES NOT LEAK AT ALL. Turn it upside down for days with water in it, and all the water will still be there and all your stuff outside of it will be dry.

These knock-off Yetis are really good. An insulated roto-molded cooler is great no matter who makes it; they are tough, hold ice longer and make great benches. I have 3 Yetis but will never buy another one. They only guys I know who buy them now are just doing it to impress people they take out. I should buy that 65 quart cooler.

Just ordered a 45 and a 65. 10 minutes later I get an email saying its shipped and they included the tracking numbers.

That's pretty good service. I just forwarded this thread to my son in law as he will be buying some also.

Thanks to all of you.

Damn you guys cost me a lot of money!

I already have a white 65 RTIC and as mentioned it's bulletproof, no difference between it and a YETI. I was thinking the other day I wished I'd ordered it in tan since it's starting to get a bit dirty. Now this pops up and I'm out $139 for the tan one.

That's a screaming deal, especially for the 65. A YETI 65 is $400 and this is 1/3 the price for one that's every bit as good.

Well guys, I am glad I got in on it even though I hesitated when I posted the deal last night. You guys that field tested them convinced me. Free shipping too. The do not have the same warranty as a Yeti, but so what. I have been using the better "regular" coolers forever without a lot of hassle so I will give this a try especially since they are on sale.

I ordered a big one in tan a few minutes ago. White and Blue are sold out but not the tan.

EDIT: got an order confirmation and a tracking number email.

I gave my softside 24 can RTIC to my daughter as a gift, after loading it up with elk, deer, tuna and rockfish fillets when she visited in October. She traveled over eight hours, the fish fillets were still frozen solid. I had used it twice to that point, with no issues keeping drinks and snack cold, and solid ice in the cooler for a day.

She uses it about every weekend, and has not had any issues with it. The soft liner cleans well, I have a 30 and 40 that get used some for hunting and fishing. I was concerned that the liner was too soft, but hasn't been an issue.

I have a Yeti 45 or 50, it's good, but I can't see where the RTIC is any less of a cooler. Several of the guys I hunt and fish with have RTICs, and I don't see a difference. YMMV.

i've already proved to my buddies that a igloo hold ice just as long as a yeti and rtic. we did our own text and there is very little differents. actually my igloo held ice a little longer.you will get a very well built cooler that will last for years but i think thats about all you get for your money.one of those free capital meat 2" thick foam coolers will hold ice better than anything.just don't stand on it.
