So what's the gun that just makes you go weak in the knees every time you see one, or makes you instinctively reach for your wallet?

For me it's classic pump action Winchester .22's. (Model's 1890, 1906, 62A, & 610)

Of that list, the only I don't have is the 1906. My very first .22LR was an 1890 in .22 Short. My next purchase was a nearly mint condition model 61 (hammerless pump action). Then I found a 62A that was a former shooting gallery gun from the 1920's & 30's. Mine has the logo of the shooting gallery company engraved in the stock, the company was called "5 Spot".

Lastly, I picked up a mint condition, made in the 1970's Rossi 62A which is a direct copy of the Winchester 62A. And I must say, it's a VERY nice copy and a first rate .22lr in every way.

Every one of them is wickedly accurate, fast action, and just a TON OF FUN to shoot. And further icing on the cake, they're all takedown guns also.

I'm also a sucker for Winchester 94's.

I love Savages too. But the 1895 Winchester does it for me too, as does the 1903a1.

Commercial Mauser 98 and Mauser 98 inspired (Husqvarna, Brno, etc) rifles are always a weakness for me. That stupid Simpson LTD website could drive me into insolvency.

An unemployed Jester, is nobody's Fool.

the only real difference between a good tracker and a bad tracker, is observation. all the same data is present for both. The rest, is understanding what you're seeing.
