That's a very interesting point that came out in our family over the holidays. My very smart and caring Niece voted for Obama. And wanted to use my DC house to attend Clinton's innaguration. But when we give her the Conservative or not quiz she fell clearly on the Right.
Not sure how she justifies her vote or support. i smartly stopped short of that part.
To that point when you get a liberal away from the mob mentality and ask them pointed questions about their views they either fall on the conservative side of the scale or they simply refuse to answer because they know their answers contradict their behavior. They cannot think logically and keep their beliefs.

Honestly, I think Wilson is saying what he has to say in order to keep his knees, his job, and avoid being blackballed or professionally lynched. This, they don't open their mouths with out consulting with some PR people.
