Anyone have any words of advice or have any complications?

Somebody probably told you to shave your junk. This is good advice, shave your junk just prior to the appointment. That will save you from having some giggly, squirmy, fabulous male nurse shave them for you.

You're welcome.

42 and a child birth. I"d be ready to hang myself.....

Based on your experience having kids?

Because of my experience of not having kids. No use for them personally, wife feels same. If we'd have had one in our 40s, we'd be ready to retire before the kid was out of school.

Different strokes, but not for us.

Cousin had one at 50ish... will be mid 60s before Luke is out of school... I watch them suffer and struggle being that old with a kid. They wouldn't trade it though. I wouldn't want it period.

I understand what you said and agree, in that I didn't want to be an old dad so I had mine in my early 20s. First one wasn't exactly planned lol but my wife and I had absolutely planned on kids anyway so we rolled with it. Wouldn't change a thing even if I could.

My point was not having had kids you can't understand why a a couple would be willing to do it again in their 40's. Kids are a blessing, but not for everyone for sure! I wish more folks were as pragmatic about it as you and didn't have kids they didn't want or weren't prepared to care for.

On another note wife and I would do just fine with kids, because we are responsible. We'd enjoy them too as it were. Just never wanted them.

I agree though, we'd be far better off if everyone understood responsibility and planning....thats not just for childbirth either...

Shaving your junk is only part of it I thought? What about frozen OJ?

If great minds think alike, only stands to reason those on the other end do as well

Frozen OJ is for the sniffles.

Shaving junk is for vasectomy.

Any sort of combination treatment is actually not recommended.

I realize this may come as a surprise to some of you that may have confused my medical advice in the past. I'm very sorry for anyone that has been shaving their junk WITH frozen OJ concentrate. This is actually wrong, the burning will stop if you correct this process.

Thanks Dave. So stop using frozen OJ but continue shaving junk daily. I thought I suffered from razor burn but I bet the frozen OJ was a contributing factor. It does burn but I found spreading some cream cheese on the affected area was soothing....for myself and the cats.

I already have a naked, slightly itchy mole rat in my pants from last weeks prep.

I'm not a gambler..

I had it done six years ago. I haven't had any complications so far. Sex life is still as enjoyable as ever.

Didn't have a good experience during the procedure but no one else I've spoken to had an experience like mine, same office & same doc.

There will always be a small "gamble" element involved.

We could compare notes on the 'experience'.

So what you're saying is the research is being used to cover for your fear of needles. grin
