Multi Colored Lady was my favorite, but there really weren't any bad ones...
"The day I went to work everybody showed up to watch Johnny Luster work. Well, they had a wheelbarrow there, and said I was to push that thing around all day. I looked at it, then turned around and headed for the mountians..."
My favorite band of all time. Been listening since 1970. True Blues and Southern Rock and Roll. They changed and created it for all that followed. Seen them several times, always delivered full measure. RIP and play " In memory of Elizabeth Reed" since so many of y'all are together again!! Eat a Peach!
normally not effected much by the passing of entertainers or musicians, but Laid Back and I have spent more than a few Sunday mornings together. RIP thanks for your contribution to music. Will the circle be unbroken?
I'm pretty certain when we sing our anthem and mention the land of the free, the original intent didn't mean cell phones, food stamps and birth control.
One of my favorite albums. I was fortunate to have seen them a half dozen times over the years. "Met" my high school fling at one at the Oakland Coliseum.
In another time, and place , your music was the ONLY thing kept some of us free.
...alla' this sure seems to have gone by quick.
