Napolean Complex

"Napoleon complex" is a theorized condition occurring in people of short stature. It is characterized by overly-aggressive or domineering social behavior, and carries the implication that such behaviour is compensatory for the subject's stature. The term is also used more generally to describe people who are driven by a perceived handicap to overcompensate in other aspects of their lives. Other names for the purported condition include Napoleonic complex, Napoleon syndrome, and Short Man syndrome.[1][2][3]

The Napoleon complex is named after Emperor Napoleon I of France. The conventional wisdom is that Napoleon compensated for his lack of height by seeking power, war, and conquest. At his death he was measured at at 5 feet 2 inches (1.57 m),[4].[5] During his career he repeatedly lowered the minimum height for a French soldier.[6] Napoleon was often seen with his Imperial Guard, which contributed to the perception of his being short because the Imperial Guards were of above average height.

In psychology, the Napoleon complex is regarded as a derogatory social stereotype.[7]

My suggestion is to buy expensive optics and brag about the price you paid,while using cheaper scopes for hunting.

This has always been the disfunctional forum. To add to my list of things you can learn here are:

- colored tape to keep your flip up lens covers on is cool.
- It's ok to leave your rifle and scope emersed in a stream as you take a photo of your trout.

Wow, I'm learning lots already. I never realized that putting your rifle and scope in a creek was that cool. I once did the same thing with a Benelli shotgun when I managed to fall out of my own canoe,but didn't realize how trendy it would become.
